Happy June! I'll be starting chemo in only two days. I'm not thrilled about pumping poison into my body, but hey... it's only temporary. Here are the drugs I'll be receiving:
Adriamycin and Cytoxan (first 4 rounds)
Taxol and Herceptin (last 4 rounds)
Thanks for the prayers!

Karen it was so great to see you Sunday. The chemo you are getting is chemo that many, many kids at the Jude and adults all over have gotten. Others before you have taken those drugs to help Dr. Tauer know exactly what amounts to give you so that your cancer is killed and your body is spared. A necessary toxic. Your few weeks of chemo will also benefit others down the road. Thank God for those drugs. Thank God for you. Get that arm stronger and work on that back swing :)
love, Maggi
